Traveling From Out of State for Care
Coordinating Out of State Care
Women from around the U.S.—and sometimes beyond—travel to our office for treatment.
How It Works
E-Visit Consultations
During an electronic visit (e-visit) we can connect either by phone or video, review your symptoms, goals and any previous treatments, and see if our team is a good fit. From there, we’ll schedule an in-person evaluation if you wish to proceed.
Planning Your Trip
Our center is well equipped to construct an efficient visit and plan of care. We help coordinate travel and planning before and after treatment.
We also offer guidance on the timing of your stay depending on the procedure. We often recommend staying in the area for a minimum of 3-4 days, even if your surgery does not involve a hospital stay. For some procedures, we recommend 1-2 weeks before extensive travel.
Our offices are in the Chicago area, so you can take advantage of all the city has to offer during your trip.
After Your Trip
Once you’re back home, we connect through e-visits for your routine check-ins. After 6-12 months, we typically schedule an in-person follow up.
Who We’ve Helped
My procedure was a repeat surgery and involved a high level of complexity. This was the reason I traveled from out-of-state to specifically see Dr. Goldberg. I felt I couldn’t be in better hands and am delighted with my recovery.
After having two kids, I didn’t know if I’d ever play competitive tennis again. Dr. Goldberg helped me get back on the court almost immediately and I could not be more thrilled.
