He brings this philosophy to caring for women with a wide variety of bothersome pelvic floor problems, offering treatments ranging from behavioral and dietary management to cutting-edge, minimally-invasive vaginal, robotic, and laparoscopic surgeries.  

He previously chaired the NorthShore University HealthSystem Patient Engagement Committee, and he has key insight into your journey. Pelvic floor problems are deeply personal, and your experience at Women’s Pelvic Surgery Specialists is just as important to him as your outcome.

After attending the University of Michigan as an undergraduate, Dr. Gafni-Kane completed medical school at the Yale School of Medicine. He received his residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and he completed his fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) at the NorthShore University HealthSystem/University of Chicago.

In his spare time, Dr. Gafni-Kane loves taking road trips with his wife and four kids. He enjoys applying his attention to detail and manual skills to painting wildlife.
